Goal: Students will learn about the major components of American culture while also practicing and honing their English proficiency.

Consider starting an English library with the help of Darien Book Aid

Day #1: Introductions and American Education

Making Salt Dough Sculptures

Students copy the Ukrainian tradition, filling in blanks about themselves.
Students then translate and present an introduction in English
